Sometimes things burn

Illustration to kalliel's amazing fic (from which I stole the title) - go check it out!

I knew that it would be problematic from the moment I started working on this - the composition was pain in the ass, mostly because I don't have that much experience over drawing things (and people) in motion. The colors were tricky too, especially since it had to be its own thing, with a specific mood, but also to serve as a companion piece not only to the fic, but to my other picture. In the end, it is what it is. But I'm happy with the dress.
